Mishaal Rahman บล็อกเกอร์สาย Android ชื่อดัง โพสต์ข้อมูลว่าโซนี่เริ่มปล่อยอัพเดตเฟิร์มแวร์ให้หูฟังไร้สายของตัวเองบางรุ่น ให้รองรับเครือข่ายตามหาอุปกรณ์ Find My Device ของกูเกิลแล้ว หูฟังโซนี่รุ่นที่เข้าข่ายได้อัพเดต คือ WF-1000XM5, WH-1000XM5, LinkBuds S

ก่อนหน้านี้ กูเกิลได้รองรับหูฟังไร้สายยี่ห้อ JBL ไปก่อนแล้ว และเครือข่าย Find My Device ยังรองรับการหาอุปกรณ์ smart tag จากหลายยี่ห้อด้วย

ข้อจำกัดของ Find My Device ของกูเกิลคือยังไม่รองรับอุปกรณ์เสริมค่ายซัมซุง ซึ่งใช้ระบบ SmartThings Find ของตัวเองแยกกัน
