เกมไฟติ้ง Killer Instinct เวอร์ชันปี 2013 (เป็นการรีบูตของเกม 2 ภาคแรกที่ออกในปี 1994/1996) ได้รับการอัพเดตอีกครั้งหลังเกมออกมานานถึง 10 ปีแล้ว!

Killer Instinct เวอร์ชันปี 2013 เป็นเกมแบบ free-to-play บนพีซีและ Xbox One โดยมีไมโครซอฟท์เป็นผู้จัดจำหน่าย ตอนแรกเกมพัฒนาโดยสตูดิโอ Double Helix แต่หลังจากนั้นโดน Amazon ซื้อกิจการ ทำให้ไมโครซอฟท์เปลี่ยนมามอบหมายให้สตูดิโอ Iron Galaxy มารับผิดชอบทำคอนเทนต์ต่อแทน เกมออกเนื้อหาเพิ่มเติมทั้งหมด 3 ซีซัน โดยชุดสุดท้ายออกในปี 2017 และเกมยังมีฐานแฟนๆ เล่นอยู่อย่างเหนียวแน่น

หลังจากข่าวคราวของเกมเงียบหายไปนาน ล่าสุด Iron Galaxy ประกาศออกอัพเดต 10th Anniversary โดยรองรับกราฟิก 4K บนคอนโซล Xbox Series X|S (เดิมเกมเล่นได้บน Xbox Series แต่เป็นกราฟิก Xbox One), ปรับปรุงสมดุลของเกม และปรับปรุงระบบจับคู่เล่นออนไลน์ ตัวอัพเดตครบ 10 ปีจะออกภายในปีนี้
